Changes in the past year
The Pathfinder project coincided with the University’s recognition that a ‘step-change’ was required in the use of e-learning across all University provision. The project has therefore made a significant contribution to this strategic development.
Main Challenges for the next 3 years
The University Learning Teaching and Assessment Strategy will be reviewed and revised in 2009 and will in crease further the priority already given to effective use of e-learning. Within it, the E-learning Strategy will develop to explicitly reflect the implications of the use of e-learning to support and enable the significant growth in wo rk-based learning and distance learning provision. A repeat benchmarking exercise in 2010/11 will allow us to assess progress and make further plans for the future.
