The conference will be held in Leavenworth, WA, which is located in the heart of North Cascade mountains in the picturesque state of Washington. Leavenworth is a gateway for numerous outdoor activities in the region, with several hikes, white water rafting, and other water activities reachable within an hour or so. Leavenworth itself is modeled as a Bavarian village and enjoys several recreation opportunities such as breweries, wine tasting, gardens, and frequent festivals and events. When registering, please ask for the "Symposium on Combinatorial Search" rates. The conference rate of $150 (plus taxes) per night is available for the nights of July 10th, 11th and 12th. The price includes accommodation and all meals. Please reserve rooms early – the hotel has limited space and is an extremely popular destination for tourists in the summer time. To ensure your booking, registration with the hotel should be made on or before the 22nd of May, as the rooms will then be released.

Leavenworth is about 120 miles from Seattle-Tacoma airport by car. There are several modes of transport available. Special transportation buses for the attendees will depart from Seatac airport on 10th and 11th July around 3 pm. Return buses will leave in the evenings of 12th and 13th July. One may also rent a car and drive – it takes about 2.5 hours for the journey. There are two Greyhound buses, one in the morning and one in the afternoon (www.greyhound.com) departing from Seattle train station.
