Venue and Travel

Walworth Castle, dating from the 12th C, is four miles outside Darlington in the north of England.

For a photo of Walworth Castle and a road map see: www.walworthcastle.co.uk.

Darlington is 2h30min by train from London on the East Coast Main Line, and ten miles from Durham Tees Valley Airport which has daily flight connections to London, Amsterdam and Paris. Darlington is also within easy reach of Newcastle Airport, which has a wider range of international connections.

In case you're travelling by train, Walworth Castle is just over 6 miles from Darlington station to the northwest of the town, just off the B6279 road to Staindrop, and should take no more than 15 mins by taxi from the station.
